I absolutely love when a couple includes their pet in the wedding day events or engagement session. Pets are part of the family so they should be there right? Actually, we know that is not always feasible. Keeping track of your dog on the wedding day can be a chore and stressful on the pet. If you are considering having your pet at your wedding, we highly recommend Lisa of Stella Earth (www.stellaearth.com). For Amanda and William’s wedding, Lisa picked up their dog Megatron from their house, brought him to the wedding, walked him to get out some of his energy, dressed him for the ceremony, looked after him while the family portraits were being done and then took him back home. The bride and groom did not have to worry about their sweetie at all and Megatron had a great time filling in as ring bearer! This wedding took place at Lionscrest Manor in Lyons.
The bride gets emotional as she sees her father for the first time on her wedding day.
I love the bride’s purple shoes!
One of my favorite shots from every wedding: the groom watching his bride come down the isle!
Megatron ran down the isle and jumped into Amanda’s arms.
Megatron in his ring bearer attire – handsome boy!

The couples first dance.
2010 brought us a lot of opportunity to photograph Colorado weddings and even a bridal session in New Orleans. It was a wonderful year and we look forward to more weddings in 2011!
OOOPS, here’s a couple from New Orleans!
One year ago on August 14, 2009 Brenda and Adam exchanged their wedding vows at the Sunrise Amphitheater on Flagstaff Mountain. Surrounded by family and friends, they had an incredibly beautiful ceremony with perfect, sunny weather. Deep red flowers by Art of the Flower complimented Brenda’s gold gown and long, flowing veil. Their elegant reception was held at the Hotel Boulderado where we created a final portrait of the bride and groom along side a historic portrait of Honey Bee. Brenda and Adam’s cake, by Indulge Bakery, had several layers of flavor and was decorated with awe provoking gold tones and red roses. Brenda and Adam – Congratulations on your first year of wedded bliss!
Wow, ten years has flown by! I recently did a family portrait for a family who’s wedding I photographed ten years ago. We re-staged one of their favorite wedding pictures.
